Officials Training Program

Become an IHSAA Licensed Basketball Official

The program begins on August 9, 2021

Class work on Mondays

On court training on Tuesdays

Participants will be taken through the rules book and prepared to pass the IHSAA online exam to become a licensed basketball official. This program will include classroom instruction, on-court training and live game action to learn positioning, signals, game management, court authority, communication skills and more. Once licensed, participant will be placed in a local officials association and given introductory level season games. Participants will be taught by licensed officials and local assigners.
