The excitement of the NCAA March Madness

Basketball Tournament is brought to Allen County

with the playing of the March Middle School

Madness Tournament. Each eighth grade team

from every public and private Middle School in the

Greater Fort Wayne Area is eligible to participate 

in this single elimination tournament.  The

tournament is offered and there is never any cost

to participate for the players or their schools.

Brackets are determined through an online blind draw and teams advance through the tournament just like their favorite college teams in the NCAA Tournament. Each round is covered by the local media outlets and culminates in the crowning of the area's best team. The champions are presented a seven foot traveling trophy which will be proudly displayed at their school for the next year. That champion will forever be remembered in Fort Wayne basketball history. There are also various individual skill competitions held in conjunction with the tournament. Each winner is awarded and recognized for their achievement.
